Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds for subscription periods that have already been billed. If you cancel, you keep access to your paid features through the remainder of the billing period you already paid for. We recommend starting with the Free plan if you want to evaluate QR Code Genie before subscribing.

What happens to my dynamic QR codes if I downgrade?

Your existing dynamic links remain active while your account is on a paid plan. After a downgrade, your new plan limits apply to creating additional dynamic links, API usage, bulk generation, and other plan-specific features. Existing assets are not automatically broken simply because you changed plans.

Once your account moves to the Free plan, paid-only dynamic features may no longer be available, and dynamic links may be disabled or removed according to the limits of the Free plan. Static QR codes are unaffected because their content is encoded directly into the QR code itself.

No. Static QR codes do not expire and do not require an active QR Code Genie subscription. Their content is encoded directly into the QR pattern, so they continue working independently of your account as long as the encoded destination itself remains available.

Are scan counts limited?

No. Every paid plan includes unlimited scans for your active dynamic QR codes. We do not charge overage fees based on the number of scans and do not impose a monthly scan allowance. Your plan limits other resources and features, but not the number of times your active dynamic QR codes can be scanned.

Why are QR code scans unlimited?

We believe a QR code should be useful whether it receives ten scans or ten million. Paid dynamic plans include unlimited scans without per-scan charges or overage fees, so you can use your QR codes for campaigns, packaging, events, signage, and high-volume traffic without worrying about unexpected scan costs.

Static QR codes on the Free plan can be scanned without any scan-count limit because they work independently of our tracking infrastructure. Dynamic QR codes and their associated analytics are available according to the limits of your current plan.
